This page explains the cookies and similar technologies MonkeyGrade uses. We aim to comply with the Swiss revised Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, for visitors in the EU, the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

Strictly-necessary cookies

These are required for the site to work and are always active — no consent is needed for them:

• session — keeps you signed in and protects forms against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). First-party, removed when your session ends.

Non-essential cookies

Some gyms enable Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect the sign-up and password-reset forms from automated abuse. reCAPTCHA is a third-party Google service that sets its own cookies and loads a Google script. Because it is not strictly necessary, we do not load it until you accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, we use a simple maths question instead, so the forms stay protected without any third-party cookies.
